Description: Thrifting find. Cast metal figure of a sitting German Shepherd on a marble base. Base measures about 4.5" long and 2" wide. The dog may be pot metal and has a bronze color coating. It is attached to the base with two small screws and nuts. I believe this figure is from the late 1920s to 1930s. Nicely detailed features on the dog. There is some discoloration on the marble base and an area of roughness on the marble edge. The tips of the dog's ears are missing the bronze color, and there are some dings and wear to the bronzed surface in other areas.
