Vintage CCM Tackaberry Prolite Tacks, size 11 2/3

Description: Vintage mid-1970's CCM Tackaberry Prolite Tacks in black/brown leather. Size is 11 2/3. Purchased these new in the mid 1970's at Wares Cycle Shop in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Used them less than 10 times skating on ponds and the river near my former home. I ran a skating rink for the park & rec. dept. and used them to patrol the ice. This is back when the river used to freeze on a consistent basis each year. I reffed a game or two but never used them with a stick/puck. They have not seen ice in over 40 years. They will need sharpening - I hesitate to do that, everyone has their own blade profiles, and I removed the original laces (included and in good shape) so I could photograph the interiors. They are size 11 2/3 but I suggest you look up CCM sizing and you will see the size marked is about 1 size smaller than regular shoe size. I have a size 12 foot and can wear these with medium weight wool socks without issue. The leather is still supple and the metal work is mostly in good/vg condition. There is a bit of chew around the front bottoms from blade strikes but overall, given their age, they are in decent shape. I will leave it to the new owner to lace them up, given preferences in lacing patterns. Since they have been stored, there is a bit of musty odor to the insides but that has dropped significantly since I removed them from storage. Wish I had the original box but that is long gone.
