Description: Vintage, creamy white ceramic Suiban or ikibana / moribana Vase in a long, low oval shape with a robin's egg blue glossy interior. Created for Kado flower arranging, this vase measures 16 3/8" long, 6 1/2" wide and 1 7/8" high on the outside and 15 1/2" long, 5 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" high on the inside. This vase has a smooth, clear glossy finish on the creamy exterior and a lovely blue speckled glossy interior. Original gold foil sticker on on side. This vase is in very good, unused condition with a small dark rough spot in the glaze on the interior and an irregularity in the glaze at one end of the bottom or leftover pottery slip - see photos for details on condition.
