He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This has been displayed in my beach house for many years. It measures 3 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide. It displays beautifully. This vintage Chinese/Japanese pottery Jian ware Zhan tea bowl Tenmoku is a beautiful addition to any antique collection. The bowl is made of porcelain/pottery and features hand-painted and hand-carved designs. It originates from China and is believed to be from the 1900-1940 age range.
