Description: I offer you, from my late sister Betsy's collection, the opportunity to purchase up to 12 full SEWING CIRCLE NEEDLE BOOKS, complete with 70 nickel-plate, rust proof, gold-eye needles and one threader, but also the original glassine envelope stamped JAPAN in which it came AND the black pad inside to stop the needles on each flap from coming into contact with each other. (In the photo, the black protector is beneath the cover and envelope on the left and the open package on the right.) Despite being approximately 75 years old and delicate to start with, the glassine envelopes are largely intact; only two have significant tears. I conservatively date these from the early 1950s only because the envelope stamp says JAPAN instead of OCCUPIED JAPAN, which was required until 1952. Yes, of course, the more you buy, the bigger the discount. And I charge a flat $5.50 for shipping plus only 35¢ for each additional sewing set you buy at the same time. Thanks for looking!Rick
