Description: This set is kind of unusual. This came with the buttons attached to the cardboard octagon piece with the girl on the front. The card itself is rough and I wouldn’t recommend re-attaching the buttons. If the purchaser does due so with caution. On that card it reads “1922 Greetings From I. P. GAUSTAD General Merchandise, Houston, Minn.” Underneath the word “Gaustad,” in smaller black print it reads “Copyright 1897 By A.B. Arkinson.” I am not sure on the “1897” and the “Arkinson” words. On the back of the card it reads “No. 2084 Copyrighted Cupid Awake Published By Tiger Prints Art Co. Springfield, Massachusetts.” I am not sure if the word “Tiger” is the right spelling. It’s hard to read. The card measures 4 in. x 3 in. The 2 pins with the hand & pen measure 7/8 if an in. The gold pin for Merit is also 7/8 of an in. The Progress In Writing blue button measures 3/4 of an in. The remaining 2 bronge pins measure 5/8 of an in.
