Description: VINTAGE CZECH ART DECO HEINRICH HOFFMANN CLEAR GLASS ASHTRAYS (4) Click images to enlarge Description Offered for Sale are these 4 Beautiful Heinrich Hoffmann Cut Glass Ashtrays dating to the 1920's (3 of the 4 designs are from plate 1 in 1927). Two of the intaglio designs are of a sailing ship, one is of a Scottie dog and one is of three 3 figures. Three of the four have the butterfly mark below the design. A bit about Heinrich Hoffmann - Hoffmann designed the glass molds in Paris and sent them to Czechoslovakia to the factory where they were produced. He used the open winged butterfly to identify his work but the mark is not always present. Most of these designs are from plate 1, 1927. These Vintage Cut Glass Ashtrays would be a Great Addition to any Antique / Vintage Glass Collection. Size: Height 3/4" - Length 2 3/4" - Width 2" Condition: - Fair to Good Overall Used Condition. All the ashtrays have scratching, nicking and some "in the making" imperfections. I have attempted to take pictures of the nicks (see pictures). The ships have nicks to the top rim. The Scottie has a chip to the top rim. The 3 figures have nicking to the top rim. Please see the pictures to view the condition of the item for yourself.
