The brooch is extremely well made with heavy and very sturdy gun metal gray metal work, which safely secures each stone with figure-eight puddling and inset round puddles which is quintessential D&E Juliana design. This great piece is featured on page 100 in Ann Pitman's "Juliana Jewelry Reference Guide". The pin mechanism works perfectly and closes/secures as expected. While the piece is unmarked, the manufacturing process, use of the fine stones, and reference guide clearly identify this as D&E Juliana. A gift box will be included with this great piece of jewelry.
