Description: Vintage Skookum figure with an interesting composition face measures 10 inches tall. The neck is cracked and has an old repair of tape and glue (photos 8 and 9 ). The shoulder plate has cracks as well but they are covered by his shirt (photo10). The long crack above the markings is a hairline crack; it does not go all the way through the composition. (The photos of damage were taken with a macro lens so they are magnified.) There are markings on the shoulder plate but I can't decipher what it says (photo 10). Despite the neck damage, the head does not wobble and the shoulder plate is firmly attached to the body. Most of the mohair is missing from his head and you can see wood shavings used to stuff the head through his hair. The wood legs are firmly attached and the suede moccasins and wood feet are worn. There is a remnant of a paper label affixed to his left foot (photo 11). The wood and metal stand is included. I am not a Skookum doll collector, but I was so drawn to his facial features and his old, worn, look that I bought him. Shipping: USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking
