Description: HEATH CERAMICS 3 Slot Ashtray with Sea & Sand Glaze. Vintage MCM ashtray from approximately the 1950s - Designed by Edith Heath. Molded ceramic bowl with 3 cigarette slots. Features speckled dark green exterior with lighter green speckled interior - called Sea & Sand Glaze. Marked (molded) on bottom: "HEATH Made in USA". Measures approximately 4 7/8" diameter; 2 1/8" high. From an estate sale of a Health ceramics collector. In amazing vintage almost like new condition with no significant damage (deep scratches, extensive wear, chips, etc.). Looks like never used (or seldom used) and handled with care. May show some light typical handling wear with maybe a scattered light superficial scratch. There are some differences in coloration such as lighter green interior; fainter brand imprinting on bottom; etc., due to the manufacturing process and handling.
