Vintage GI Joe Helmet Foam Replacement Inserts - Pilot, Astronaut

Description: Replacement Foam Insert Pads for your Vintage 12" GI JOE Figure Helmets. I made a few of these for my old Joe helmets that were missing the foam inserts and after a couple friends saw them and asked if I would make some for their Joe's I figured I would put these out there for any other GI Joe collectors who might want to replace those dry, brittle or missing helmet inserts. These inserts are cut from yellow foam that is about the same density as the original foam inserts found in the vintage helmets. Every effort has been made to cut these as close to original specs as I remember them to be, 1" diameter by a quarter inch thick. These look great in the Scramble and Freefall helmets as well as the Astronaut helmet but could probably be used in any other 12" GI Joe helmets. I found that a good All-Purpose contact cement (not included) worked well for keeping them in place. PLEASE NOTE: Auction is for ONE PAIR of YELLOW FOAM INSERTS ONLY.
