Description: Here is a unique vintage handmade bread dough Ecuadorian figure. The detail on the clothing is exquisite. It comes in a glass framed enclosure, but it could also be hung as a Christmas ornament as it does have a coarse string attached to it in back. It is about 6.75 inches high and about 3.5 inches wide. Various cracks are present. See photos. However, they don't appear to affect the strength of the figure since these are hardened and sealed after painting when they are made. This type of figure is made in Ecuador. The note that was with this one shows a date of 1968 and indicates it was a present to a teacher. (See photo) I will ship the frame in 2 parts so that the doll can be securely wrapped. The frame will need to be assembled by using the 6 enclosed screws. I will also enclose a piece of stick-on velcro that can be used to attach the doll to the back of the frame if you so desire. The doll was originally attached to the back of the frame with tape which has lost its stickiness.
