Description: This is a super cute lifelike vintage Metzler Ortloff Maltese figurine. It has an adorable little face and a tiny blue bow. I was not able to find any others like it so I believe that it is very rare. The mark on the bottom dates it to sometime between 1923 and 1972. It is also marked with the number 5 and stamped with the number 5959. Made in Germany of high quality porcelain. This Maltese measures approximately 2” tall and 1.5” wide. I do not see any issues with this figurine. It is in beautiful vintage condition from what I can tell. Please review the listing photos to make your own assessment of the item's condition before purchasing. ****This is from my parent’s Vermont home built in the late 18th century and is vintage, used in another era and will show signs of wear appropriate to its age.
