Description: Wonderful ceramic elephant ashtray set, consisting of four individual ashtrays and a holder for the ashtrays. The set was made in Occupied Japan when Japan was occupied by the Allied Forces following World War II from 1945 until 1952.Each individual ashtray measures approximately 3" x 2 1/2", with the holder measuring approximately 6" x 3/12" x 2 1/2" tall The condition of the ashtray set is excellent and appears to have been used only lightly for display. There are no cracks, chips or crazing and color is bright and vivid. All pictures are of the item described and are representative of the used condition of the item.
