Description: This is a scrimshawed - carved bone. possibly a knife handle. Depicting a beach scene, maybe a fish harvest or camp. The individual is wearing a grass bark skirt and cape. Also, a bark round hat. I believe this to be pacific coast Native American Art. I received this from an aunt living in Coos bay Oregon. They had worked in the Tacoma shipyards during WWll. And retired to the coast. It is from one of the local tribes in that area purchased for me as a gift 1965' ish. it has been in my sock drawer ever since. That is all the providence I can give.
