Description: I have collected vintage hats for decades. I LOVE hats. But my husband says they don't love me back. LOL.Didn't stop me from buying them...lots of them. As time passes faster and faster...I have found myself in a time in my life where I must part with many of my favorite things. Especially the things my kids aren't interested in. As hard as it is to part with things, I MUST make sure they go to people that appreciate them and will love them as I have. This hat was purchased at an estate sale. As was customary, they wadded up newspaper and stuffed inside to maintain shape. I will leave the original vintage newspaper pages (in a plastic bag) in to maintain the integrity of how I purchased myself (comic section...who didn't love the comics!). True to the era, this colorful floral beauty is stunning and I hope it will accent a dress from the same decade. You'll be the hit of the party. The netting does have a torn spot in it, but honesty, it could be removed and wouldn't hurt the look one bit. Cute little bow in back.
