Description: Up for auction is a vintage used Pure Oil Company battery strap used to carry car/truck batteries by their top posts. It is from the Glencoe Oil Co. in Glencoe Minnesota…not sure the age, but the phone # is 8 so a single digit is pretty old, probably the 1930’s-1940’s? It’s in great shape, some dirty spots but might clean up and look better. The metal ends have a little light corrosion but not bad. Measures 14” long and rubber strap is 1” wide. The last 2 pictures show the Glencoe Oil Co. and are only examples and NOT included in the auction. Very cool advertising piece and would display nice in your collection!
