Description: On July 1, 1931, the "Quaker State Corporation" was formed when Charles Pape, stockbroker from Chicago, bought 19 regional oil companies, offering them 55,000 shares in the new corporation that resulted after they merged their business. Their oil is still popular today. These 4 cans have been sitting on a ledge in our cottage’s garage since the mid 70’s. We have used these vintage, unopened, full cans of Quaker State's 1 quart DeLuxe brand for display only; they certainly look their age, rust and all. As for using the oil inside of them, if you google it, you will get ranges of recommended shelf life anywhere from 5 years to “anyone’s choice”.
