Description: Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 3 Smoothing Bench Plane This is a bench plane made by Stanley Bailey. The #3 smoothing plane is great for final touches on furniture pieces and is a great plane for medium and smaller hands. It's also lighter than the #4 smoother. This is a great user plane. Someone drilled a small hole in the sole, perhaps for hanging it in a convenient spot. It doesn't make a difference in use but isn't ideal for collectors.
