Stitched on a really light colored pink or light mauve color. The piece appears to be in wonderful condition. From what I can tell it is free of any stains. There are no harsh or musty smell to the piece. Beautiful! I think it has previously been framed maybe due to the outside hem and what looks like framing nail holes?
