Description: ITEM: (1) Vintage WWII era Photo of a man and woman who both served. He served in the US Navy. He has two patches. One is a Naval Amphibious Forces patch and the other a Machinist mate first class patch. The Naval Amphibious Forces were responsible for transporting soldiers and Marines to shore, often under heavy enemy fire. They were instrumental in the Pacific Theater of WWII. His wife also served stateside. She is wearing her work uniform and a button that reads: HALL SCOTT MOTOR CAR CONPANY EMPLOYEE #932. Hall-Scott ran put of Berkeley, California during WWII and were a division of American Car and Foundry Motors at the time. They built Invader & Defender engines.
