Description: This is a very hard to find Vintage Cobalt Blue Handblown Empoli Genie Bottle in the 'Swirl' Pattern. With its stopper it reaches an astounding 21 inches and without stopper, it is 16 inches. The base, at its widest, is approximately 6.5 inches. The pattern was produced from 1960-1969. The pattern is described as a repeating relief of stylized waves that grow larger toward the base and continue to the top and it features a flame shaped stopper. This particular piece has a few 'extras' that make it unique. There is a 1.5 inch dimple located on the bulb area most likely made the actual thumb of the artist who produced it! It also has several bubbles throughout. There are a few very tiny scratches that I tried to photograph, but most flecks you see in the photo are bubbles. Also note the amazing pontil mark pictured!
