Description: There seems to be some question as to the authenticity of this marble. Some have emailed me saying it's a Vacor Confetti. I have never sold Vacor marbles and don't know much about them. I did go online to check them out. I did not see any thing that resembled this marble. It seems Vacor Confetti marbles are all multi colored. They have a few with two colors but they are in large sizes like 2" and don't look like this marble. With that said here is my response to the doubters. This marble is exactly what I described in the description. Another marble seller had one on E Bay, ( NOTE : That marble has since sold ) I had two of these for sale a Blue Opal and this one. The Blue Opal sold a few days ago. This is my last one. RD is an avid marble collector and she is the one who purchased the entire inventory of the Vitro plant in Anacortes WA when it went out of business. I also had a Blue and Opal one similar to this one but I recently sold it.I have been selling and buying marbles on E Bay for 21 years with over 10,000 positive feedbacks and not one negative in all those years. I'm proud of that ! I have been collecting and appraising marbles since I was 30 years old, I'm now 81. In addition I've belonged to 3 marble clubs and traveled to marble shows all over the USA. I have sold and bought marbles from Bob Block and Marble Alan when he had the Running Rabbit auctions going strong. I have no reason to try and scam anyone about this marble. What I wrote is the absolute truth and can be verified. Stay safe ! RichPS feel free to post this anywhere. 5/8" and in Wet Mint condition by my eyes BUT look at the pictures and you be the judge. Here is the story on this marble. Many years ago a women who lives in the Portland area gave me two of these marbles, this one and a Blue Confetti on White Opal glass. This women whos initials are R. D. (for privacy) is an avid marble collector and has one of the most exclusive and extensive collections I've ever seen. I have been to her house several times for invitation only Marble Parties. Some marble collectors will know exactly who I'm talking about. Since I moved out of the Portland area I've not seen her for many years. When the Vitro Agate plant in Anacortes WA was set to close she went up and bought the entire inventory of marbles in the factory and had them delivered to her home in the hills surrounding Portland. On one of my visits to her infamous marble parties she took my wife and I into the basement to see the inventory, boxes and boxes. Among the inventory was a short run of these experimental Confetti marbles not yet released to the public. She gave me two and told me they were valuable then but would be worth a lot of money in the future because she was NOT releasing them for sale. I've had the two marbles for many years and decided to release one to the general marble collectors. I strongly believe you will never find any of these anywhere, she has them all except for the ones she handed out to friends. This is an investment marble !!! This is an exclusive offering so be sure you want it before you buy it. I will supply who RD is after the sale. ALL SALES ARE FINAL FOR THIS MARBLE , BE SURE BEFORE YOU BUY --- ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS OF ANY KIND !!! I wll ship this priority mail with insurance and signature required ! I do combine wins for discounted shipping for 3 days. I'll send you an invoice. I measure marbles through a drop through scale. I use my naked eye to grade. Considering the fact most are over 100 years old I do allow some slight imperfections. SPECIAL NOTE : I can no longer ship marbles in a Cardboard Box because of the increased cost. I will now ship in a padded envelope. UGH ! All identification is based on my collecting and experience over the past 50 years. I've always said you can show the same marble to four different collectors and have four different ID's and opinions. I do my best. BE ADVISED !!! There are sellers that use misleading descriptions and buzz words for marbles like, Oxblood, Guinea and Submarine to increase the value of the marble. They simply add a disclaimer that they are not experts which is an easy outlet to mis-guide buyers. I've seen $1 marbles selling for $45. If you can, buy from an established dealer with a good reputation. Happy Marbling !!! Rich ALL MARBLES WILL BE SANITIZED BEFORE SHIPPING I BUY MARBLES FROM ONE TO HUNDREDS. IF YOU HAVE MARBLES YOU WANT TO SELL I WILL PAY A FAIR PRICE. PLEASE CONTACT ME THROUGH E BAY. SORRY NO CONSIGNMENTS !
