The coat is small, I'm guessing it's a size 6 to 8 based on how it fit my mannequin. My mannequin is a size 6 and this coat was a little loose on it. It has a chest size of 38 inches and a shoulder-to-shoulder measurement of 16 inches. The A-line style and classic 1940s look make it a timeless piece that can be worn whenever the weather gets cold and you want to turn heads when you go out. This original Union Made coat is a must-have for any vintage clothing enthusiast. Condition: A really nice vintage garment for being over 85 years old! Very nice wool with no odors. A unique padded fabric used in the lining that is in great condition - see picture. It's very clean. It "de-lints" rather easily and lint doesn't tend to stick to it, like some wool coats. I LOVE the overall condition. Vintage items will have wear consistent with age, this is part of their charm and should be expected. This coat has a small hole near the collar and the bottom of the mink fur helps to camouflage it. Also, near the front hem, the wool fabric is thinning just a little bit in two places. Finally, on the side panel, near the hem, there is a light stain. See pictures all these three issues.
