Description: Vintage 1960's Deluxe Jewel Tone Butterfly Applique Bucket Handbag Purse Kit W/Box This purse is so cute! It was originally a kit that someone would purchase and use adhesive to decorate the purse. There are imperfections as it was a "paint by number" kind of kit. So, if you look closely, you can see the person that put it together didn't always hit the mark when they made it. I think this adds to the character of the piece and makes it unique. You can tell it was used, but it's clean! There is a 1.5" split on the inside lid closure (see photos). This does not affect the functionality of the purse. There is remnants of adhesive on the top lid as well, looks like the person may have had their name glued inside? Also does not affect the functionality of the purse. One of the large butterflies looks to be lifting up off of the purse, you could glue it back down, I'll leave that to the new owner if you want to do that. Purse measures almost 14" across the very top lid closure. The bucket portion measures 12" long opening by 3.5" wide opening, and about 10.5" deep. The box measures 14.5" by 12.5".
