Description: Vtg 1971 JanMax Gold Toned Large Bee/Cicada Brooch Pendant w/ Filagree Wings. The Jan Max Jewelry brand lasted for a rather short period, less than 5 years. It was founded in Trenton, New Jersey. This brooch/Pendant looks to be a large cicada bug or a bee. The body is very detailed and has a gold toned finish. The wings are a fliageee gold tone as well. Its eyes are red faceted stones (see photos). This brooch measures 3.50" wide from wing tip to wing tip and is 1.75" deep. This was a pre-owned item, and it has some minor wear (see photos). There is one broken piece of filagree on the wing and one missing piece of filagree under a wing(see photos). I will ship this item within 1 day of a received payment.
