Description: Vtg Linen Dish Tea Towel Lot of 5 VGC EUC Folk Amish Scottie Dog Vintage dish or tea towels. Lot of five. Condition varies from good to very good to excellent. Folk design with couple, hearts and roosters. Medium weight natural linen. Features a couple picking apples. Roosters and hex signs complete the design. We believe this is a Parisian Print from the 1950s or early 60s. Very good, gently used condition. Faux cross stitch dish towel measures 16.5 x 32 inches. Good to very good gently used condition. Folk or Amish print. Medium weight cotton. Measures 16 x 28 inches. Signed "GREEN" at lower right. Gorgeous hand blocked towel. Colors are deep and rich. Two different scenes - couple bringing their wares to market and couple in the farmyard. Very good to excellent condition. There are a couple of specks of red (extra printing ink dots or ticks are common in hand blocked or printed textiles). Signed by artist at lower right Vintage hand-blocked or hand-printed tea or dish towel. Cotton. Measures 17 x 28 inches. Very good to excellent, unused condition (possibly a bit of storage dust). There may be a bit of unevenness in the color application (normal in hand-blocks). Victorian scene with lady, a scottie whose leash has just been released on a dining break. She is being welcomed by the kitchen master. Nicely done five color screen or block print (green, blue, red, yellow and black). Colonial scene with mother at the hearth and son fresh from the hunt. Mother looks surprised! A Scot Terrier awaits his portion of the feast. Measures 17 x 28 inches. Very good to excellent, unused condition (possibly a bit of storage dust). Lovely hand blocked print. Son has musket in left hand and rabbit in right. Mother is tending the huge cookpot at the open hearth.
