This block plane, was made by Stanley for Montgomery Wards, and is the exact same plane as the Stanley Number 9-1/2. The plane has light scratches, dings, discoloration, light pitting on the sole/sides, and other metal parts. The cutter will need tuning up. Please look over the photos carefully. I do not see any defects, repairs or cracks on the plane body. All moving parts work. Lightly cleaned, and oiled.
