Description: Custom-Ordered and Hand-Made Pair of Whites Packer Boots made in Spokane, Washington. These are a Cowboy's or a Hunter's or a Working Man's Boots with all the bells and whistles. I believe I had them made in about 2001 but am not sure. From top of shaft to floor is a little over 14 inches. The size is 8D. Color is a rusty reddish-brown. They are Insulated and Lined with soft Leather. The soles are very thick--I think I ordered triple soles. The bottoms of the soles are that popular Honey Deep-Lug Vibram, which is ideal when hunting on rocky mountainsides. Very thick, soft tongue. False tongues are in place. Leather laces--I'll see if I have an extra pair to send along. Leather is soft and foot-friendly and comfortable, and of course you get that famous White's Arch-Ease construction that sets the foot a bit forward and allows for comfortable all-day wearing. From a smoke-free home; no objectionable odors. And yes, they keep the feet warm in very cold weather, so the insulation does indeed work well. Soft toes. These are true hand-made Whites and not the Hathorn line. (They are stamped "Whites Handmade--Spokane WA" on the top outside of the shafts.) Boots are marked as a size 8D, which is what I wear, but please consider my measurements and compare to those of a similar pair of your boots that fit comfortably. Height: 14.3 inches. Overall length: 11.75 inches. Interior foot-bed length: 10 inches. External width at ball of foot on the sole is 4.5 inches. Sole is just a little bit over one inch thick. Heel height is 2.5 inches vertical or 2.75 inches on the slant. Soft toe is slightly rounded. Lacing configuration: four pairs of brass eyelets; nine pairs of brass lacing boot hooks; and another pair of eyelets at the top. Several notes: These heels are a bit higher than the normal Whites. Measure from the floor up 14 inches on your leg to see where the tops will be. I have boot grease and oil but did not apply because it will change the color somewhat. However, just tell me if you want me to oil or grease them up before sending. Be on the lookout for another pair of leather laces, since one of them is broken. I'll see if I can rustle up another replacement lace or a pair. About making offers: Check the White's catalog or on-line pricing for similar boots, custom-ordered.
