This is correct for the Willys M38 (not M38A1) jeep only. This kit is complete and includes all the parts needed to rebuild your carburetor. Very high quality kit with gaskets and diaphragms suitable for the new gasoline blends. This is not a gasket kit, this is the most complete master kit available. Compare at $59.95 or more.Includes a very high quality brass needle, spring and seat ass'y (float lever valve). This is not included in many kits on the market today or a very low quality needle and seat are included. Our kit has the best brass needle and seat ass'y available. Our kit also has the correct thickness base gasket for mounting your carb to the intake manifold.There are different styles of the Carter YS carburetor. This kit is correct for the Carter YS-637 only which was original equipment on the Willys M38 army jeep (G740). This kit is not correct for the Willys M38A1 army jeep.
