Description: SHRIEK! #4 THE MONSTER HORROR MAGAZINE Magazine distributor Acme News Co. Inc. put out their own monster mag (lasted for four issues May 1965 - Winter 1967) and did a good job of it. Shriek! concentrated almost exclusively on the then current horror movie scene, with well written articles, interviews and lots of well reproduced photos. Yet another monster magazine with an unknown staff and unknown cover artists. Contents: The Projected Man, Frankenstein Conquers The World, The Mask, The Brides Of Fu Manchu, The Deadly Bees, Carry On Screaming, Daleks Invade Earth 2150 A.D., Muntser Go Home and more! Condition: rippling & waviness throughout magazine and "stiffness/crinkly" feel to covers/internal pages due to magazine has been wet and has dried out, top of spine rounding/wear/fraying, internally complete with all pages and nothing clipped out or missing. All magazines are packaged with Collectors in mind. They will be individually bagged, and sandwiched between two pieces of over-sized cardboard. This not only helps to prevent magazine edge damage during the shipping phase, but it also helps to prevent folding and rough handling of the magazine(s). This secured package is then put into a cushioned bubble mailer, helping to ensure you will receive your item in the same condition that it leaves my crypt in!
