Description: Great find! Original photo of Carl Lindquist, a WW1 US Army soldier KIA in France in 1918. He has been recognized by the city of Lawrence Massachusetts in the “Lawrence WW1 Project”. They named a baseball field after him for his service and sacrifice. There is also a utube video about private Lindquist on the official Lawrence MA website. The photo looks to be taken in Sweden (Storgaten 38 is a Swedish address, printed under his name on lower right of photo). It is known he was in Sweden before heading to France before he was KIA.
