Description: The M40 became the standard issue helmet in 1940 and issued to all branches. These were used up until the end of the conflict. Good for a mid/late war reenactor impression Decent quality reproductions at a fair price. The weight and thickness of the steel is very comparable to that of an original. The helmets are painted a flat fieldgrey that really mirror the originals. Complete with a nice leather liner and quality chinstrap.
