Description: Two custom made reproduction WW2 M1939 notched dog tags with two M1940chains. these were issue just before the war in 1939 and also include reproduction M1940 stainless steel chains that were issued until mid or near the end of the war when they went to the ball chains. These are exact reproductions done using the same Addressograph embossing machine that the military used then and still uses now as a field machine with 28A character size. The standard Military set up is: Last Name. First name/middle initial (if long names first name would be on second line) service number. blood type. religion. You can use this or we can emboss anything you want on the tags. 18 characters per line (includes spaces) 5 lines per tag. (the middle line can only take 17 due to the chain hole) all characters will be in capitols only as this is the way the machines are set up. other available characters are: . ' & % 1/2 lower case c for (names such as McNamara) and cent symbol. Please include what you want on the tags during checkout in the 18 character 5 line format. specify if you want any special spacing such as first line blank etc.
