Description: Available is a guaranteed 100% original late WWI to 1920's era United States Marine Corps Private First Class (PFC) crossed rifles shoulder rank insignia or patch for the dress blue blouse or uniform. While you see examples for the alpha green uniform, it seems like the blue version is much harder to find. This rank was only used briefly for a few years at the end of World War I until the early 1920's and was eventually replaced with the single Private First Class chevron. These are getting scarce so if you need a nice clean original example now is the time to get it to dress up that WWI and between the wars China Marine or Banana Wars era stripped blouse. The patch measures approximately 3 ½ inches wide and 2 3/8 inches tall. It consists of yellow rifles embroidered on blue wool. The patch does not glow under a black light. The patch is in MINTY condition showing minimal storage age. It has never been sewn on or removed from a shirt or uniform.
