Description: This sale offers a group of vintage and original World War II artifacts from the North Africa Theater during World War II. This grouping was the property of a U.S. Army GI soldier who served in French North Africa, Morocco, and Italy during World War 2. The lot includes:1. 28 vintage 5" x 3-1/2" black and white photographs taken by the US soldier dated on the back: March 11, 1945, processed at Brown Photo Service, Minneapolis, MN. These very unique photos are various scenes of Casablanca, Morocco, including the VOX Cinema, Police Station, Bank, United States Army camp, Taxis, great views of city scapes, clock tower, Red Cross building, street kids, French Colonial troops boarding a train in uniform, horse and buggies, Statue of General Lyautey of the French Army. This is a great photographic depiction of Casablanca during the war years. All very nice condition. 2. 2 vintage large postcards 4" x 6" - Naples - Napoli, Italy - The New Naval Station and Railway Station, unused on the back 3. 2 photos of US Army G.I soldiers - 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" - in uniform. One is a soldier standing near oil cans, and the other may be a photo of a soldier at home. Minor surface wear. 4. 1 photo negative of the included soldier - GI with oil cans. 5. 2 U.S. WW2 North African Theatre patches both original WWII, no glow, lots of snow on the back. They appear to have been once on a uniform. 6. 2 U.S. WW2 Technical Sergeant shoulder patches - in khaki, both original issue WWII, no glow, very nice condition. 7. 3 ribbon bars - European African Middle Eastern Campaign medal ribbon bar with one battle star, Bronze Star ribbon bar, US Army Good Conduct Medal ribbon bar. All original WW2, have some light soiling. 8. 1 US Collar Disc- clutch back, WW2 issue, minor wear 9. 1 US Infantry Collar Disk - clutch back, WW2 issue, minor wear 10. 1 US Discharge Patch - very good condition. 11. Soldier's Individual Pay Record book - Dated March 26, 1942, has 8 pages, unused and not named, has some wear. Great addition to your U.S. Army World War 2 travel military collection.
