Description: Yamaha Portasound PSS-130 32 Key Synthesizer. Modified. The modification is interesting as this model does not have a factory line out. Mods include:A Switchcraft 1/4 shorting jack between the speaker and internal speaker lines from the amplifier. When a 1/4 cable is inserted, the speaker is shorted/removed from the circuit and the line out is active. Note: always insert the cable prior to turning on the unit and remember to turn it off before removing the line out to switch to the internal speaker. A kill switch that will work with either speaker or line out.A Volume knob as this unit has (3?) fixed volume presets. Notes: When used with the onboard speaker it behaves more like a kill switch and it takes very little movement to cut the signal pretty much on or off with a very small amount of functional play. When used with the line out, it has more of a useful sweep. This is a quirky synthesizer, and the modifications make it a a much more useful tool for sound design, live performance, and recording. It has been modified as listed above, so please ask any questions prior to purchase. It will operate with batteries or standard 9V or 12V power adapter (neither are included), and has been fully tested and is working prior to listing.
