Description: This bracelet has been much loved and worn. There are eight carved jade figures with little detail remaining. I've decided they're buddhas and not turtles, but you decide. Check out they way they're woven onto the bracelet -- carved to accommodate the string that holds them in position, side to side. Unfortunately, the chain of knots on one side of the amulets has come undone, but the carvings are still being held securely in place. I'm guessing this was purchased by a wandering hippie in Tibet, back in the 60s. From a Maine auction this summer.
