This makes the exhaust quieter while cruising and reduces the droning sound while cruising. Some people who like it loud also uses this with a muffler delete to eliminate the rear muffler. There are several scenarios for the use of this piece. The best part is it's a slip fit clamp on so nothing is permanent. So maybe you want it quieter so your girlfriend or wife can quit complaining about it and you can slap your straight pipe back on when going to the track or going out with your friends. These come standard on our 1.8 cat backs but not standard on the 1.4 models. Can be used for all our sonic Catback exhaust systems. Must be a ZZPerformance Sonic Catback to fit properly. This one is discounted from our normal one due to some cosmetic dents that do not effect the sound or use of the item. ZZP Resonator for Sonic Catback This is a replacement resonator for our ZZP Sonic catback. This will allow you to switch between having the resonator by simply loosening the clamps, and swapping the parts within minutes.
